Biography

Wildwood, Utah began as a summer camp site in the late 1800s. People began buying lots and building cabins, and summering at Wildwood in the early 1900s. The cabins and community spirit, combined with the proximity of the Provo River, hiking destinations, and overall natural beauty, attracted more and more visitors. Wildwood caretaker Y. M. Offret made the site even more of a public attraction by opening the Wildwood Store. Today, Wildwood is a small community located in Provo Canyon.
