Biography

The Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Tooele County branch was established in 1915. It serves to honor the Utah pioneers that arrived in or were born in Utah prior to 1869. The Daughters write histories and biographies about pioneer times. The Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum and Log Cabin resided in Tooele in the Pioneer Plaza. The Daughters in the branch added artifacts and histories to the museum as well. The museum was renamed to the Tooele Pioneer Museum sometime after 2012, and is temporarily closed at the time of writing. Their website is also seemingly defunct and/or outdated.
