Administrative History

The Brigham Young University 24th Ward (1958-2011) was an ecclesiastical unit of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Provo, Utah. The ward provided religious services for university students.

The Brigham Young University 24th Ward was established in 1958 with the reorganization of earlier units. Initially part of the Brigham Young University Stake, it was later associated with the Brigham Young University 3rd Stake. The ward was deeply involved with the university intramural sports program, and came in second place in the All-Church volleyball tournament in 1968. In 2011 the ward was dissolved as part of a larger reorganization of student wards within the Church.

Bishops have included M. Carl Gibson, Glenn L. Pearson, John Lehi Weenig, and Warren Osborn.
