Administrative History

The Education Advisement and Certification Office (1979-1982) provided academic advising to Brigham Young University College of Education students seeking professional certification programs.

The Education Advisement and Certification Office provided academic advising to College of Education students from 1979 to 1985, as they progressed through professional certification programs in connection with their formal university curriculum. Referred to as the college advisement center, or EAC, the office reviewed student applications and endorsed them for certification to the Utah State Board of Education. The Office was supervised by Mary Louise Seamons from 1980-1981, and Dr. Clark Webb from 1981-1982.
