Administrative History

The Athletic Advisory Council (1956-1981) was an advisory body for the sports programs at Brigham Young University.

The Athletic Advisory Council was established in 1956, and was responsible for advising and directing the intercollegiate athletics program. In 1981 the council was discontinued and replaced by the Athletics and Special Events Advisory Board.

Committee chairs included Wayne B. Hales, Milton Hartvigsen, and Clayne R. Jensen.
