Administrative History

The Center of Entrepreneurship (1989-2009) was an institute to help students develop leadership and entrepreneurship skills at Brigham Young University.

The Center for Entrepreneurship was a center located within the Marriott School of Management. It was supported by founders, who were practicing entrepreneurs who support the entrepreneurship curriculum and program at Brigham Young University. There were up to 140 founders of the center. The Center for Entrepreneurship was all about helping BYU students turn their entrepreneurial ideas to fruition. The Center provided helpful resources for developing business ideas and learning to think creatively and competitively. It also provided a mentoring program where successful entrepreneur members of the BYU community could volunteer their time and talents to help BYU students develop their business ideas.

In 2009 the center was merged with the Rollins Center for eBusiness to become the Rollins Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology.
