Administrative History
The School of Accountancy (1983-1989) was an instructional unit at Brigham Young University. The school taught courses leading to a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting.
The School of Accountancy was established in 1983 in a merger of the earlier Department of Accounting and the Institute of Professional Accountancy. Initially part of the School of Management, it became part of the Marriott School of Management in 1989.
Directors of the school included K. Fred Skousen (1983-1985) and G. Fred Streuling (1985-1989).
