Administrative History

The Library Committee (1904-1950) was an administrative unit at Brigham Young University.

The Library Committee was established by the university administration in 1904, and was composed of three faculty members who advised the activities of the library. Chairs of the committee included James L. Brown (1904-1910), Joseph Peterson (1910-1911), Alice L. Reynolds (1911-1924, 1925-1939), G.H. Brimhall (1924-1925), W.J. Snow (1939-1940), Wilford Poulson (1940-1948), and A.C. Lambert (1948-1950).
