An independent, non-profit organization, established January 26, 1946 to assist in obtaining and maintaining adequate air power for national security and world peace, to keep members and the public abreast of developments in the field of aviation, and to preserve and foster the spirit of fellowship among former and present personnel of the United States Air Force. Headquarters: Arlington, Virginia.
