Biography

The Eastern Utah Telephone Company was a telecommunications company organized by Reuben G. Miller in 1905 with help from Rocky Mountain Bell. In 1906, the Eastern Utah Telephone Company was linked to the Rocky Mountain Bell line via telephone lines in Price, Helper, and Myton. The company continued to add telephone lines until it was purchased in 1924 by the Mountains States Telephone and Telegraph Company.

It includes receipts from the Price Ward in the Emery Stake and the Forest Dale Ward in the Granite Stake, newspaper clippings and member and genealogical reports, patriarchal blessings of Mary Jane Gardner Miller, and notes pertaining to Reuben Miller and James J. Strang, and early Mormon apostate leader.
