Eastern Utah Telephone Company
Biography
The Eastern Utah Telephone Company was a telecommunications company organized by Reuben G. Miller in 1905 with help from Rocky Mountain Bell. In 1906, the Eastern Utah Telephone Company was linked to the Rocky Mountain Bell line via telephone lines in Price, Helper, and Myton. The company continued to add telephone lines until it was purchased in 1924 by the Mountains States Telephone and Telegraph Company.

Biographical sketches are about parents, relatives, and friends including Mary Jane Gardner Miller, James R. Miller, Frank J. Taylor, E. J. Winder, Robert Gardner, and Reuben Miller.

Contains correspondence from Miller, and a record thereof, dating from between 1909 and 1951. Includes correspondence from Levi N. Harmon, a record of Reuben G. Miller correspondence including collected quotations and verses, photographs of Carbon County Court House in Price, Utah, and a family picture of the family of Mrs. Alice Danielson.

Includes miscellaneous text materials, mostly undated. Includes Anna Miller's address book, medical notes dated 1871-1949, address book pages, and burial instructions for Miller. Also included is an inventory of household items, a funeral service program, Heber Bennion letter to President Heber J. Grant, an article copied from Deseret Evening news of May 21, 1898, and instructions for an L. C. typewriter.
