Biography

The Eastern Utah Telephone Company was a telecommunications company organized by Reuben G. Miller in 1905 with help from Rocky Mountain Bell. In 1906, the Eastern Utah Telephone Company was linked to the Rocky Mountain Bell line via telephone lines in Price, Helper, and Myton. The company continued to add telephone lines until it was purchased in 1924 by the Mountains States Telephone and Telegraph Company.

Abstract

Diaries, correspondence, memoranda books, financial and genealogical records, biographical sketches, and miscellaneous papers. Diaries include mission labors in the Southern States for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Biographical sketches are about parents, relatives, and friends including Mary Jane Gardner Miller, James R. Miller, Frank J. Taylor, E. J. Winder, Robert Gardner, and Reuben Miller.
