Biography

The Sunnyside Gold Mining Company ( -approx. 1908) was a mining company located in Piute County, Utah.

The company operated primarily out of four claims located at the head of Steens Canyon and on the east fork of the Sevier River. Prior to 1908, Emil Ostlund became secretary of the mining company. The mine was condemned in 1908, after an assessment of the mine showed few traces of gold. No other records of the company remain.

The materials relate to the Utah Fuel Company, the Pleasant Valley Coal Company, and to the Sunnyside Gold Mining Company.
