Biography

The Emery Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints founded the Emery Stake Academy Board to educate members of the church.

The stake was established in 1882. The Emery Stake Academy was establishde from the stake in 1890. The Academy Board of Education, with WIlliam John Seely as clerk, discussed education of church members in Emery County, particularly facilities and curriculum.
