The Southern States Mission (1867-1971) provided religious instruction for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, and parts of Ohio.

Photocopies of handwritten church records including minutes of meetings and newspaper clippings. Most of the items relate to the activies of the Mormon Church in Florida including the creation of the Florida Stake. The district clerk who recorded the minutes was Joseph S. Copeland.
Norma Larson Elliott papers
Florence I. Christiansen mission papers, 1918-1979, bulk: 1918-1920
Contains photographs, a diary and some weekly reporting books from Florence I. Christiansen's mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Western States Mission from 1918-1920. Also contains documents pertaining to the Florence's life history and her funeral service in Moreland, Idaho in 1979. All materials from between 1918-1979.
Joseph B. Keeler family papers
Includes journals, biographical sketches, correspondence, articles, lesson manuals, published and unpublished manuscripts, photographs, and ephemera. The bulk of the material was created by Joseph B. Keeler's descendants, who used his papers as they compiled their published family history, "Build Thee More Stately" (1989). The collection focuses on family history, religion, education, and professional organizations.
