Biography

BYU Magazine (est. 2001) produces Brigham Young University's alumni magazine.

The publication was first released in 1945 as the Brigham Young alumnus (two short-lived alumni publications, the Alumni announcer and the Y alumnus, preceded it). In 1968, it was renamed BYU today and became a tabloid newspaper. It was renamed the Brigham Young magazine in 1993, and began to release its publications less frequently, on a quarterly basis. In 2001, it combined with the offshoot BYU alumni, and was renamed BYU magazine.
