Collection includes 372 photographs, 451 postcards, 271 glass plate negatives, 155 negatives, 14 lantern slides, 76 stereographs, and five panoramic photographs, taken or collected by J.M. Boutwell between the 1900s and the 1930s. Includes images of geologic specimens, rock formations, and landscapes.

Contains photographic negatives, transparencies, and prints of various sizes by photographer Glenn Embree. Subjects include landscapes and travel, celebrities and other portraits of notable people, fashion, World War II, and advertisements for food and beverages, automobiles, boats, and technology. Contains over 29,000 items of color transparencies, 35mm and 7x7 cm. slides, black and white negatives and prints taken by Willard Ray Luce Jr. It also contains many original copies of magazine and newspaper articles where Willard Luce's writings and/or photogrpahs appeared. Most of the photographs are of the Western United States landscapes and wildlife which includes insects, animals, and plants. Also included are several books and manuscripts and a bibliography by Celia Luce.
