Collection contains photocopies of family scrapbook items relating to Merle V. Adams' career and family life. Also includes family biographies, Merle's filmography, copies of newspaper articles that mention Adams, and information about a hidden treasure reported to be near Kanab that Adams helped look for. Oral history interviews with Grant L. and Josephine Harris Bayles on 7 and 11 July 1971. The interviews were conducted by Mary Risher and Louise Lyne for the Utah State Historical Society and California State University, Fullerton Oral History Program.

Contains two diaries, one kept by Mary Ann King, dated 1887-1888, and the other by her husband William King, dated 1880-1882. Mary Ann's diary covers the time period during which she accompanied William on his mission to the Sandwich Islands for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. William King's diary discusses his ranching, camping, and traveling activities.
