Royal Swasey interview
Typewritten transcript of an oral history conducted by Kent Powell at Swasey's home in Ferron, Utah. "The purpose of the interview is to gather information about a cabin that was constructed at the head of Eagle Canyon on the San Rafael Desert in Emery County and also to learn of the activities of the men who ran horses in this area.
Alonzo L. Taylor letter
Handwritten and signed letter dated 11 March 1903 and addressed to "Dear Bro John M." This was probably John M. Cannon (1856-1917). Taylor writes about the problems of moving some cattle to Alberta.

This series contains one letter from Sam Stuart to Thomas Stuart, who are both brothers of Granville Stuart. Sam wrote this letter in 1865, and described his military situation in Indiana, along with his future plans.

This series is comprised of Granville Stuart's biography (1921) and his journals and reminiscences from his life in Montana, entitled Forty Years on the Frontier as seen in the Journals and Reminiscences of Granville Stuart: Gold-Miner, Trader, Merchant, Rancher, and Politician, published in 1925. Also included is one publication owned by Stuart, The Overland Stage to California, published in 1901.
