Scope and Contents

Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typescript. The item is an autobiography of Edith Lewis Hepworth. She was born in Provo, Utah, on 4 September 1874. She later moved to San Juan County, Utah, where she observed Apache and Cherokee Indians, and she describes the activities of the Indians. She writes mostly about her early life. She married Thornton Hepworth in 1901 and had seven children. Her husband died in 1926.
