Simon Kenton contracts
Handwritten and signed contracts dated 15 June 1780, 1 August 1792, and 6 April 1805. Two contracts concern land acquisitions. The third is an agreement with Mason County, Kentucky authorities to construct a grist mill.
Charles Kuhlman diaries and account books
Handwritten account books. The volumes also include diary entries and records of crop productivity. Kuhlman also gives a small account of his life before farming. As a young student he was very hard of hearing and therefore quit school to become a farmer.
