John Andreas Widtsoe collection
The collection contains typewritten reports on surveys relating to land use planning, erosion, surveys, and irrigation in the West United States. Many of these reports include maps of the areas under discussion. These materials were compiled by John A. Widtsoe in 1925.
Milford Wilkinson letter and map
Photocopies of a printed map and a handwritten and signed letter (7 pages). The map also displays an "Outline of the Delamar Mining District" of Nevada which is a brief history of mining in the area. Wilkinson's letter is not dated but was addressed to John M. Townley of Las Vegas, Nevada. Wilkinson writes about the Jumbo Claim of the Delamar Mining Company located south of Pioche, Nevada. He tells about the use of cyanide and mercury in processing ore.

Handwritten mining claim dated June 10, 1870. Williams claims a mine located in Bingham Canyon of the West Mountain Mining District of Salt Lake County, Utah.

Materials include family letters, photographs, and ephemera dealing with family matters, business, and mining activities in Utah and Nevada. Dated 1909-1912.

Photocopy of five small receipts photocopied on one page. Each item is signed and states: "Good to the Bearer for one load of Red Beets."
Richard Woolsey account book
This collection consists of photocopies of the original holograph account book. Woolsey recorded his costs in repairing shoes and boots. He also mentioned such farm matters as the birth of animals. He probably lived in Kanab, Utah.
Writings about Granville Stuart, 1901-1957
This series is comprised of Granville Stuart's biography (1921) and his journals and reminiscences from his life in Montana, entitled Forty Years on the Frontier as seen in the Journals and Reminiscences of Granville Stuart: Gold-Miner, Trader, Merchant, Rancher, and Politician, published in 1925. Also included is one publication owned by Stuart, The Overland Stage to California, published in 1901.
