Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typewritten biography. John Williams Grant was born in Millcreek, Utah, in 1865. Most of the account was taken from Grant's own writings. He herded sheep in Colorado and became involved in a range war between sheep herders and cattlemen. John was shot at several times and was nearly killed. He sold his sheep when he returned to Utah.
