Scope and Contents Typewritten and signed letter, newspaper clippings, and a catalog. The letters, dated from March 21, 1928 to April 23, 1930, are addressed to T.C. Abbott of Gilt Edge, Montana and discuss the book Mrs. Russell is compiling of her husband's letters. The book was first published in 1930 and was entitled "Good Medicine: the Illustrated Letters of Charles M. Russell." The newspaper items cover Charles Russell's death. George Augustus Sala letters

Five handwritten and signed letters and three pages of manuscript. One document describes the itinerary of a North American tour. Four letters are personal and discuss dinner engagements and Sala's anger at an acquaintance. Two pages of manuscript are autobiographical, detailing Sala's travels in the latter 1850's The last leaf of manuscript is an essay on the Greek philosopher Democritus.

Contains primarily original prints of photographs by Savage, covering all periods of his career. Of the 839 items, over 750 are clearly Savage photographs. Eighteen other photographers are also named, including Alfred A. Hart, Edw. J. Muybridge, and possibly Carleton E. Watkins photograph. Includes landscapes in Utah and the West, with many in Salt Lake City. Also includes portraits, many of leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with many of Brigham Young.

This collection is the scrapbook of Savage. It includes newspaper clippings, copied poems and songs, a brief autobiography, correspondence, memorabilia, and other miscellaneous items including the newspaper notices of his death.
