This collection contains multiple drafts, revisions, notes, and outlines of Michael O. Tunnell's children's books including Mailing May, Chinook, Beauty and the Beastly Children, The Children of Topaz, and School Spirits. It also contains correspondence between Tunnell and his publishers and editors concerning contracts and edits needed, letters from fans, slides, newspapers, and other materials, 1989-2008.

Portrait of Adolf Hitler (1889-1945) done in colored pencil. The portrait has the words, "Ehrenbuergerurkunde Bergen Chiemgau fuer Reichskanzler Adolf Hitler." The item has a seal attached and makes Hitler an honorary citizen probably of Bergen bei Traunstein when Hitler became Chancellor of Germany in 1933. The portrait depicts Hitler in a Bavarian peasant costume, looking stern, and holding his right hand up.
