Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography. Marillah Olnew was born in1833 in Canada. Her family soon joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She migrated to Utah in 1852 and settled in American Fork. She married Arza Adams in 1859, and she died in 1899.

The family later moved to Nauvoo, Illinois. He migrated to Utah in 1852 and married Priscilla Covington in 1856. They had 11 children. He resided in American Fork, Utah, where he died in 1918.

He later came to Utah in 1850. He was a farmer and a stock raiser. He had two wives and no children, but he helped raise three children of other couples. He died in 1906.
