Latter Day Saints -- Genealogy
Found in 56 Collections and/or Records:
Handwritten entries into a "Temple Record" book which records the temple work done by proxy for members of the Adams family in Mormon temples. The material also includes information on the Adams family genealogy.
Typewritten genealogy of Nellie F. Ayres. This item was composed on an unknown date from published genealogies. The materials include pedigrees, family histories, as well as land, civil, and probate records. The item traces Nellie F. Ayres' ancestry through the Terrell family of North Carolina and of England. Ayres apparently had some Mormon descendants.
These are research materials used by Susan Easton Black in an academic capacity. She collected these materials in circa 1988 to research the history of the early saints of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They consist of geneological records, church ordinance records, family lists, and biographical notes pertaining to church history.
Typewritten biographies and genealogy charts of Adams family members. The item is a compilation of family histories, diaries, and miscellaneous items. Sadie Clark is the author of many of the biographies. The materials include excerpts from the diary of William Adams (1822-1901).
Photocopy of a handwritten letter. The item was dated 10 April 1960 and was addressed to "Mrs. Paul R. Ostring." Bruere seems to be answering an inquiry of Mrs. Ostring, who may have been a Mormon, regarding the genealogies of the Miller and Judson families.
