Minnie P. Grow letter
Photocopy of a letter from Minnie to mother Grow, and another relative named Nell. Minnie writes about a trip she made from Sacramento, California to Salt Lake City, Utah. She writes that she went by railroad and describes the places in Salt Lake City that she saw. She mentions meeting the family of Brigham Young while in Utah. Included is a typed transcription of the letter. Dated June 20, 1871.
Charles W. Hardy papers
Correspondence, diaries, financial records, legal documents, irrigation and canal documents, pipeline descriptions, railroad advertisements, receipts, and notes. The materials relate largely to Hardy's work on railroads and other projects.

Abraham Lincoln letter
Handwritten and signed letter listing questions Lincoln wished asked of Gouverneur Morris and Solomon Alofsen at a deposition hearing concerning their roles as officers of the Sangamon & Morgan Railroad. The letter is accompanied by another document, signed by L. Stillwell, verifying the handwriting of Lincoln.

This collection contains a scrapbook, correspondence, newspapers clippings, and biographical statements. The bulk of the materials relate to the the Salt Lake and Utah Railway Company that Orem founded.
James L. Ozment collection of George Edward Anderson photographs
Collection includes eighty-three glass plate negatives taken by George Edward Anderson of the construction and reconstruction of some railroad lines in Utah and Colorado in the late 1800s. Also contains internegatives and prints of the photographs. Materials date from 1860 to 1928.
William Jackson Palmer letter
Handwritten and signed letter addressed to Mr. Walker and dated November 3, 1896. It discusses a previous request made by Mr. Walker for historical data he wishes to use in an article.
