James Keeler diaries

Photocopy of handwritten diaries. Keeler writes about his activities while serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hawaii from 1850 to 1855 and from 1876 to 1878. Keeler also writes about his life in Utah as a carpenter and farmer. Also included is a diary of Eliza Shelton Keeler, James' wife, which she kept from 1891 to 1902. The Keelers lived much of the time in Richfield, Utah.

Handwritten diary kept while Thurber was serving on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Switzerland. He worked in the French-speaking areas. Also included is an autobiography at the end of the record in which Thurber writes about his early life. Thurber lived in Richfield, Utah.
