Collection includes correspondence, blueprints, surveys, reports, field notes, photographs, and other materials from 1886 to 1932 relating chiefly to the engineering and legal aspects of engineering in Utah in the areas of private irrigation and mining activities. Also included are records of several associations of water users in Utah.

Folder contains correspondence and statements from 1959 that pertain to the opposition to the Burns Creek reclamation project in Idaho as it was seen to be a disguised power project rather than a reclamation project. Other information in the folder pertains to State water rights and opposition to the proposed move of the United States Bureau of Reclamation office from Spanish Fork, Utah to Provo, Utah.

Folder contains correspondence, legislative acts and bills, reports, press releases, newspaper clippings, congressional records, maps, magazine articles, and statements from 1963 to 1966 that pertain to different aspects of the Colorado River Storage Project in the Western United States such as the use of water from the Colorado River, power generated from different units of the project, and appropriations.
