Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography. Shelley writes about William Thomas Brown. Brown was born in England in 1843 and migrated to Utah in 1852. During the journey, cholera killed both of Brown's parents. He lived in Salt Lake City, Utah, and later settled in Alpine, Utah.

This collection consists of autobiographies and autobiographical notes and sketches by Oscar Watkins. These materials also contain miscellaneous notes relating to Watkin's family history and genealogy and to financial transactions and land boundary questions. Also included is the diary of Joseph William Watkins (1854-1888) for the years 1885-1888. A photocopy of this journal is also available in the collection.
