Handwritten diaries in two volumes. The earliest item is for the year 1857 when Huntsman was serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Iowa and Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The later item covers the years 1871 and 1872 during which Huntsman was on a mission in Illinois, Ohio, and Indiana.

Contains the diary Thomas Peter Thompson kept while serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Northern States Mission, beginning April 13, 1898, and a transcription of the diary. Also includes Thompson's missionary certificate, signed by Wilford Woodruff, George Q. Cannon, and Joseph F. Smith. Dated 1898-1900.

Abstract

The Thomas Vickers journal, 1885-1897 (bulk 1885-1887), includes entries recording his mission experiences, such as appointments, results of meetings, traveling "without purse-or-scrip," individuals contacts, etc. Post-mission entries (1887-1897) document family, work, and life, in Nephi, Utah.
