Percival Densmore and Ione Perkins papers
Correspondence, articles, newspaper clippings, and scrapbooks. These materials were created by Perkins and his wife, Ione Bendel Perkins. The collection relates to the Perkins study of Japan, China, and the Far East.
Joseph H. Stimpson diaries
Photocopies of handwritten diaries. The items cover the years 1908-1913, 1915-1921, and 1960-1961. Stimpson served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Japan from 1906 to 1912. He returned to Japan with his wife, Ann Mary Christensen Stimpson, where he served as a mission president for the Church from 1915 to 1921. Many of the entries for 1916 were made by Mrs. Stimpson. The latest diaries were kept when Stimpson was retired in Riverdale, Utah.
