Milas Edgar Johnson autobiography
Typewritten excerpts of an autobiography. Johnson was born while his parents were migrating to Utah. He lived in numerous places including Fountain Green and Huntington, Utah. He states that he knew Black Hawk, recounts incidents with Ute Indians during the Black Hawk War, served as postmaster in Huntington, and was elected to the Utah state senate. The item was edited by family members who removed some material.
John Brown letters
Photocopies of typewritten and handwritten letters addressed to a friend. Brown writes about his life and about growing up in Huntington, Utah.

Photocopies of typewritten histories and biographies. The materials relate to the early years of settlement by whites in Huntington and in Castle Valley, Utah. The date of composition of the materials is uncertain. Some of the items were written by Flora J. Jensen.

Photocopies of handwritten entries in an account book. The item lists the assets of the Huntington Cooperative in November and December of 1881.
Joseph Ellis Johnson diary and biographies
Typescript of a diary and two biographies. Johnson kept the diary from 1886 to 1887 while serving on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Southern States. Also included are two biographies of Johnson by family members.
