Mary Lou Allred collected photographs and stories behind artistic project made by her father, Rex Allred. Included are photographs and stories of animal figurines, rock walls, fountains, furniture, and jewellry made by Rex for his family or for his own enjoyment. Project was written for an English 392 class taught at Brigham Young University during Winter semester 1995.

Rebecca S. Wilson collected personal narratives about creative ways to ask and answer someone for a date. Included are invitations involving costumes, embarrassment, flowers, food, hunts, correspondence, music, objects, teachers, wordplay, and direct invitations and declinations. Project was written for an English 392 class taught at Brigham Young University during Winter semester 1996.

Glenn collected stories of creative date invitations and answers, and creative dating experiences. Included are stories of a girl sending her date a pizza with her invitation in the box, a boy asking a girl on a date with flour and a flower, and a girl writing a note like a little child asking if a boy could come and play. The project was written for Dr. Eliason's English 391 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1998.

Gardner analyzes first impressions of married couples, a dating couple, and roommates in order to gain a better understanding of the role first impressions play in defining a future relationship. Gardner contends that first impressions may affect the timing of a relationship and the speed at which it moves. Collection of stories involving cats and the events around their death. Includes tales of the owners receiving a sense of gratitude as the animal died, the various personalities that cat holds, and spirituality in cat stories.
