She moved with her family to Nauvoo, Illinois, where she heard sermons by Joseph Smith (1805-1844), the first president of the Mormon Church. The author writes about the life of Henry Eden (1887-1960) who worked as a farmer, coal miner, and peddler in Castle Valley, Utah. Also included is a biography of his wife, Annie Catherine Williams Eden (1891-1921).
