Barnett explores stories collected from employees of Baskin Robbins and organizes them into four categories: customer frustration stories, humorous customer stories, repugnant customer stories, and employee initiation stories. Included are a snow picnic where a campfire meal is eaten in the snow, a tradition of eating almond rice pudding on New Year's, and eating black eyed peas on New Years for good luck.
