John Sharp letter to Oliver Ames
Concerns payment of debts of Joseph A. Young, John W. Young, Brigham Young, and the Utah Central Railroad, to a company in Boston which Ames represented. Ames later served as governor of Massachusetts, 1887-1890.
J. H. Sherman letter to Smith Tuttle
Materials include a letter from J.H. Sherman in Carthage, Illinois, to Smith Tuttle in Fair Haven, Connecticut. The letter is primarily regarding Sherman paying taxes on Tuttle's property in Nauvoo and Commerce, Illinois, including some for property he owned on Joseph Smith's Addition in Nauvoo. Dated November 19, 1847.

William J. Silver blueprints
Blueprints bound in two volumes with a handwritten introduction. The materials are various plans which detail machinery commonly in use. Also included are tables and diagrams of the dimensions required. The materials were originally donated to the Deseret Museum in July 1913.

One side is an interview of Leo Smith talking about his years as a worker with the Orem Railroad Company. The other side is an unknown interviewee, born in Provo, talking about his work as a station manager of the Orem Line. Dated July 19, 1979.
