George Mygatt letters
Handwritten letters dated 18 April 1837 and 3 March 1840. Mygatt writes just north of Kirtland, Ohio. In the 1837 letter he describes banking as making money. In the 1840 letter, he writes about the banking business as failing. These items present insights into the financial andbanking situation in Ohio about the time when the Mormons were there.
