Contains autobiographical writings and diaries of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who lived in East Germany before and during World War II. Also contains transcripts of interviews conducted by Roger P. Minert with these members between approximately 2000 and 2011. All materials written and collected in preparation for the publishing of Minert's books on the subject.

Scope and Contents Contains autobiographical writings, diaries, and audiocassette recordings and transcripts of oral histories with German members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints living in Germany and Austria during World War II. Materials were collected by Roger P. Minert between approximately 2000 and 2011 as he was researching and writing two books, "In Harm's Way," and "Under the Gun," both detailing the lives of German Latter-Day Saints prior to and during the War.
