Typescript of an interview with Robert V. Thornblad, conducted by Ben Bahlmann on January 22, 2000. The audiocassettes, from which the interview was transcribed, were retained by Bahlmann. Thornblad talks about his training as a fighter pilot, the characteristics of the P-39 (Airacobra) aircraft, and his various missions from North African and Italy during World War II.
