Typescript of an interview with Parley W. Newman, conducted by Ben Bahlmann on November 20, 1999. The audiocassettes, from which this interview was transcribed, were retained by Bahlmann. Newman talks about his service as a paratrooper for the United States Army during WWII. He was stationed in New Guinea and was involved in a airborne assault in the Philippines.
