Scope and Contents

Typescript of an interview with George E. Muzing, conducted by Ben Bahlmann on March 21, 1999. The audiocassettes, from which the interview was transcribed, were retained by Bahlmann. Muzing talks about his training as an infantryman for the United States Army during World War II, his deployment overseas, and his experiences in combat in France and Germany in 1944 and 1945. He was wounded by accidently being shot in the shoulder.
