Typescript of an interview with Eldon R. Child, conducted by Ben Bahlmann on June 17, 1999. The audiocassettes from which the interview was transcribed were retained my Bahlmann. Child talks about his training as a pilot for the Army Air Corps, his service on B-17 aircraft, his deployment to England, and his combat missions over Europe during World War II.
