Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography. Joshua Adams was born in 1833 in Canada, and his family joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1836. He migrated to Utah in 1848 and later settled in American Fork. He was a farmer and a rancher, had a large family, and died in 1906.

Photocopy of a microfilmed typewritten biography of Jemima Berry Henson Durrant, written by her descendant, Ella E. Durrant, around 1944. Jemima was born in England in 1826 and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She immigrated to Utah and lived in American Fork. The biography includes a history written and read by Joseph B. Forbes at the funeral of Jemima in August 1904.

Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typed biography. Joseph Alston was born in 1821 in England, and he joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1839. He migrated to Nauvoo, Illinois, where he knew Joseph Smith, the first president of the Mormon Church. He migrated to Utah probably in 1850 and died in 1891.

They tried to migrate to Utah by handcart in 1857 but could not make the entire journey. They stayed near Council Bluffs, Iowa, for four years and came to Utah in 1861.
