Anderson's file contains his memoir, and John Daniel Monson's file contains his memoir, a history of the USS Taney, on which Monson served, a photograph of Monson, and a photocopy of Monson's honorable discharge certificate. The memoirs detail each of these men’s' experiences serving in the Coast Guard during the Second World War. Dated 1943-2002.
