Materials include narrative, articles and photographs regarding Francis Keith Davis' service in the U.S. Army during World War II. Narrative details many of his experiences from a Field Artillery Observation Battery. Most noteworthy are his experiences from the Battle of the Bulge and the liberation of a concentration camp at Ohrdruf. Davis writes of the atrocities of World War II. Materials contain a narrative of Henry Clair Tracy's experiences from his induction in the U.S. Army to the end of World War II. He discusses spending a lot of time in hospitals because of malaria and jungle rot, but still being able to take part in many offensive operations in New Guinea.
