Scope Note: Phonograph records originally invented by Columbia Records, first introduced in 1948. The records have a rotational speed of 33 1/3 rpm (revolutions per minute), and have very fine grooves. They, along with 45 rpm records, replaced 78 rpm records in popularity.

Collection includes (spans the dates 1952-1996) hand-written manuscripts created by Merrill Bradshaw, original scores and parts, published and bound scores such as “Title of Liberty” and “The Restoration”; papers centered around his teaching years such as grade transcripts and class rolls; audio/video recordings that include reel-to-reel tapes, cassette tapes, CDs, video cassettes, and LPs, and correspondence.

Contains assembly scripts (1952-1964), entries for the Mormon Art Student Competition and Music Composition Contest, the Annual Student Body 1 Act Play Contest winner (1966), cultural event programs (1964-1970), newspaper clippings associated with cultural and arts events (1968-1970), and reports, notes, and correspondence (1958-1971). This collection also contains vinyl records of BYU music groups.
