Oliver Boardman Huntington papers

Collection contains diaries, ephemera, and patriarchal blessings produced by Oliver Boardman Huntington and his son, Oliver B. Huntington. Items document the early history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Latter-day Saint exodus to the West, and the establishment and early development of Utah. Materials date from between 1843 and 1932.

Items include research notes and materials regarding the many different representations of Joseph Smith (1805-1844). Contains copies of these likenesses, and also contains information on the different artists who have created them, particularly Sutcliffe Maudsley.
