Scope and Contents This subseries consists of incoming and outgoing correspondence, including postcards, of Dorothy Rhoads with family members and close friends. An extensive amount of correspondence is between Dorothy and her sister, Frances. The bulk of the correspondence is from 1915 to 1955, after Dorothy went to college and later after Frances got married and moved. This subseries is composed of photographs of Maya people and their activites during the time Sylvanus and Frances visited Santa Fe, Mexico, and Guatemala. The photographs include people who worked for or with Sylvanus G. Morley in his archeological expeditions, as well as people who intereacted with the expedition in the village. Dated approximately 1924 to 1947.
